Week 1 — Introduction to SQL & Databases
- What SQL is and why analysts use it
- Setting up SQL Server / SSMS
- Your first SELECT statements
Week 2 — Filtering & Sorting Data
- WHERE clauses and comparison operators
- Combining conditions with AND / OR
- ORDER BY and sorting results
Week 3 — Aggregating & Grouping
- SUM, COUNT, AVG, MIN, MAX
- GROUP BY for category-level summaries
- Filtering groups with HAVING
Week 4 — Joins & Real Business Queries
- INNER JOIN and LEFT JOIN across tables
- Answering multi-table business questions
- Writing a full query from a business ask, unassisted
Capstone Project
E-Commerce Database Query Project
Using a real, multi-table e-commerce database, you'll write a set of queries that answer genuine business questions — top-selling products, regional sales performance, and customer behavior — the same kind of ask you'd get from a manager in a real analyst role.

- A laptop capable of running Microsoft SQL Server / SSMS
